Found on the same day as the antique paint pigments I just listed, it seemed the universe was telling something, plus just nice to have grain painting and artist paint box combined in one. And quite a handsome looking box I think, with cartouche shape to the red and black grain painting on the lid, and then more of it on the sides. Inside, four open compartments--two small, two larger--and lid that lifts to a larger one. Found as pictured, with two old paint tubes and two brushes inside.
11 1/2 x 9 3/8 x 1 7/8 and in good sturdy condition, lid closes snug and flush. The latch piece on front that would hold a lock or tie is gone.
