As you surely know by now, nothing delights me more than old drawings, the more naive the better. These dogs are from a larger group of 19th c. graphite drawings I found yesterday at a show in New Hampshire, which I've divided into sets--so many fabulous little animals! In addition to the dogs themselves, I really love the capital letter handwriting on this.
Sold as set. Mastiff: 6 11/16" x 4 7/8". Thibet: 5" x 5 7/16". Dalmation: 5" x 4 11/16". All in very good condition, no tears, on lined paper with embossed marks at corners. All blank on reverse.
