The surface on this one is what makes it really excellent to me—counterpointing its cuteness in just the right way and to my eye making this kitty seem quite a soulful one. Almost no loss to the original green paint on its eyes, which imparts them with a sort of heightened intensity, while the old creamy while paint remaining elsewhere highlights the texture of the fur. Solid cast iron, c. 1920, in perfectly aged condition. Weighs just shy of 5 pounds.
8 7/16” t x 6 1/4” w x 2” d and in great antique condition. Light surface rust, not shedding a bit.
