1950s Old Faithful Painting Crayons

I've got a total weakness for vintage and antique art supplies--so many examples of great packaging and graphics, and, of course, pure color.  These Old Faithful "Payons" were produced by the American Crayon Co, 1950s I believe, and can be used dry like a crayon, or as pigment to be shaved and combined with water to make watercolor paint. I found 5 boxes of them together which were pretty much never opened; perhaps they came out of an art supply store. Just looking at these makes me feel more creative.
