Young Man in Bucket Hat with Palm Trees and Folding Camera, c. 1940s-50s Snapshot

This feels so mid century southern California to me, and the light with that "golden hour" quality--I can only imagine our young man here about to head to the beach and photograph the surfers.  I love a portrait like this, lots packed into it is an effortless sort of way. 

3 1/2" x 2 1/2". Very good condition. My first photo makes it appear as though a little yellowing around the edges, but really no evident toning at all.
