One of two more drawings today by a D.B Webber of Concord, New Hampshire that I found together in a plastic sleeve digging through the files of a favorite antiquarian bookseller in Maine, all dated 1907 (here just below the kangaroo). It made my day when I found them, just my sorts of drawings, and of the sort it feels harder and harder to find. I haven't managed to definitively identify their maker, but there are plenty of records for Webbers in Concord and nearby. Some palm trees and other plant life giving habitat to the character-full kangaroo here, and with two objects below it that look maybe like miniature plows--or perhaps platform shoes!
8 7/8" x 5 1/2". Good condition, ink on lined paper.
