I bought and quickly sold another abstract polaroid by whoever made this one several months ago, then went back to the same dealer to scoop up this one this past week. Unusual and to to my eye wonderfully strange, clearly made as an "art" Polaroid rather than being a product of happy chance, and taking full advantage of everything the polaroid format has to offer while also transcending it; a very specific object and also an evocative one. The ground behind the pinkish form at bottom right corner--which appears to be in the image, not painted on top of it, and which somewhat evokes the line of a finger, or folds of skin (and folds in time/space too!)--is that solid, matte orange brown color that feels completely specific to Polaroid.
4 3/16" x 3 3/8". Good condition, with a light stain to the white border lower left corner and a small abrasion along bottom edge toward the left.
