It's pretty much impossible to convey presence through photos, but trust me on this one--hang it in the kitchen and/or use it for serving bread and cheese, and it will make you feel very glad. 19th century, with a wonderfully imperfect tombstone top and hole for hanging, and old knife marks all over adding up to a wonderfully warm thing that feels as much as embodiment of home and hearth as one could imagine.
16 1/2" x 11" x 5/8". Much used as evident but with a whole 'nother lifetime of use left in it.
