I can't resist kid-made toys, whether paper dolls or carved guns and daggers, because one can so vividly feel the imagination of the child behind the creation, and the many hours of backyard scenes and scenarios in which they played a starring role! One side of this old dagger reads Logan, and the other KO--whether a first name or a last name or initials I don't know, but I like that it also stands for "knock out", and definitely this has a great sense of immediacy to it. I'd like to think the holes at top and bottom are because our boy very reverently hung it in a special spot, so as to be ever ready as needed.
8 1/8" t x 1 3/4" w and in good clearly used condition with a great patina.
