I've got a special weakness for chalk line winders, and this is a really beautiful one, not least for the very old string on it, which changes from blue to pink as one unwinds. Along the way, it has been knotted to itself several times--either to lengthen the line or, I think more likely, to mend it. The spool piece spins on the handle for easy winding and unwinding, and the handle is smooth and worn from handling. Love.
10 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 1 and in very sturdy, beautifully aged and worn condition.
