Young Swimmers on the Dock, Henderson Harbor, NY, Striking Old Snapshot Photo

Feels like summer. I really love the composition here, with this densely packed group of young swimmers seated in all different positions on the dock, forming a low horizon line giving way to an expanse of white above. A beautiful play of limbs and gestures and heads turned in every direction, including one just getting her face into view near right. Very atmospheric. And with this one young girl near center, facing toward the camera, a magnetic focal point and making me think of Sally Mann.
