Young Man and Old Woman on Park Bench with Amazing Faces, Antique Sixth Plate Tintype

I keep saying, and will keep saying, to me there is just something about a good tintype that is like nothing else, making the subjects feel so present and right there, and often feeling both transcendent of time and very contemporary. This one has a bit of a Diane Arbus feeling about it to me, with such striking, distinctive and expressive faces on these two, a grandmother and grandson perhaps, who it feels like a street photographer might just have stumbled across sitting on a bench in the park and asked to photograph. I would. Wonderful.

2 1/2" x 3 3/8". Clipped top and bottom left corners as evident, and general light surface scratching which feels all of a piece with it.
