A total charmer of an old handmade rolling toy I think, found this week in New Hampshire, with cross on his back that makes me think he's coming to the rescue! His head was carved as a separate piece with post inserted, so can be rotated all the way around, meaning he can sniff out danger in all directions! Great alligatoring to the old white paint, graphic red and green on the wheels, and a super sweet face too. Love.
7 5/16" t x 8 1/2" long measured on the square x 4 1/4" w. Good condition, perfectly aged. It looks like there is an old repair to a split near his front paws - well done and not detracting. Wheels were nailed on and one is a bit tight, so while they do turn he doesn't really roll along.
