I'm forever opening old school books in search of drawings, which sadly are becoming harder and harder to find. A sweet one in this 1886 copy of Warren's Primary Geography though, with a bit of a Caves of Lascaux feel to this cluster of animal head silhouettes I think! Nice maps inside, too. I just can't leave things like this behind.
Warren's Primary Georgraphy, Cowperthwait & Co, Philadelphia, copyright 1886. 9 1/4 x 7 1/2". General wear and scattered stains. Tear to right top corner of title page, two loose pages (a two page map), all else tightly bound and in good shape, with a handful of notes and doodles in graphite sprinkled throughout.
