I'm a sucker for blocks and parquetry sets of all sorts, and this is the first of its kind that I've come across, so of course I scooped it up immediately. Great color palette on the wooden blocks, and a series of design cards inside the box, including guides for free form creations, from flower basket to candlestick to snapping turtle! 1950s or so I would guess, and through the box shows plenty of wear, the cards and the blocks are in great condition. I'd spread them out on the coffee table and never put them away.
Box measures 8 3/4" x 8 3/4" x 1". Triangular blocks measure 1 5/8" long on short sides and 2 3/8" on the hypotenuse.
