Vintage Mexican Folk Art Burro Candleholder

I found this Mexican folk art donkey candleholder along with a lion, listed separately,  with which it makes a terrific pair. I just can't resist these when I come across them as I find them 100% cheer inducing, and like to imagine a festive table lit by a whole menagerie. They also make me think of friendship, with the little wire-legged birds on either side riding along for company.

4 5/8" t x 4" l x 2 1/4" d. The candleholder is sized for a candle about 1/2 inch in diameter. Very good vintage condition, with no chips or cracks that I can see. There is a little old wax inside the candleholder and there was a little that had dripped down one side, which I have since removed.
