I don't know much about model ships, but I think know a pretty sweet one when I see it, and to my eye this is definitely that. It seemsthat is it made primarily of an early molded hard plastic, which has been hand-painted, including shiny black on the sides and nice red and black striping on the stacks. A few little bits missing and a little paint loss here and there, but looks great and has a really nice folkiness about it. Sits flat and upright.
10 1/4" l x 1 1/4" w; 2 1/8" tall including masts, 1 5/8" t otherwise.
