This one is heavy with the weight of all these metal "bag plates"--I believe snap closures for the flap of a purse or the like. I just love old sample cards like this, especially much handled ones with handwritten numbers and notes on them. This one was produced by the United States Fastener Company located on Milk Street in Boston--whose work clearly involved holding all sorts of things together! c. 1920s-40s I believe, with a very satisfying reverse side too.
9 3/8" x 7 1/8". A couple of "bag plates" missing and general wear to the card as evident. Board is sturdy and samples make it quite heavy for its size!
