These wooden animals--dogs, I'd think?--feel so familiar, but I haven't been able to figure out their maker. Certainly they bear a very strong resemblance to the animals of Swiss toy designer and maker Antonio Vitali (who also designed many toys produced by Creative Playthings), and there is a Made in Switzerland sticker on the underside. At any rate, I think they make a pretty great modernist pair to sit on a shelf somewhere--and also indestructible play animals for the kids!
Larger measures 4 7/8" long x 2 1/4" tall x 1 1 /8" wide. Smaller 3 1/4" l x 1 7/8" t x 1" w. Overall excellent condition. There is one small knick in the wood on the rear side of the larger, as documented.
