I found this sweet horse together with a hatted man, clearly made by the same person, but though the figure sits on the horse very nicely his proportions are a bit large for it, so I’ll list them separately. In addition to its great face and powerful proportions, what I especially love about the horse and figure both are all of the different postures they can be manipulated into, making them feel super expressive and full of life. Nice warm patina to the dry pine too.
6" long x 5 3/8" tall and in very good condition. Stands up well on its own.
