A very sweet old carved wooden boot, because I think one can never have too many carved boots and shoes--but then this one is a pipe bowl, to boot! About as basic as it gets in terms of pipe bowls--just a hole in the heel that goes through to the interior-- but with lovingly incised detailing at the toe, around the sides, and up the front as lacing holes.
3" l x 1 3/8" w x 1 13/16" t. Late 19th/very early 20th c, nice dry patina, good condition.
