I just love the look of these, strung together with an old bootlace and ready to hang on the wall as wonderfully graphic, evocative things, forever in wait of soles! On the interior of one is hand-written "8", I assume meaning a child's size 8, and I guess that child never came along so they were never completed. They were long ago folded in just the right way so lie completely flat, with just a bit of the interior cloth linings showing around the edges (move from the flip side), just right.
Each measures 7 1/4" x 4 7/8" and they are in great, clean condition.
