SOLD Spiderweb-like Old Hand Crocheted Doily in Excellent Palette

I just love this and find it quite transcendent of its doily-hood; I'd be inclined to frame it or pin it directly to a white wall to looks at it that way. To my eye evocative (especially this time of year) of a spiderweb, and capturing all of a spiderweb's delicacy and fineness. And with the precise feeling use of color making it seem almost as if depicting some sort of cellular structure--or energy field.
