Shaking Hands Across the Bush (Making Amends), Charming Old Snapshot Photo

No more beating around the bush! If only all conflicts could be solved with a trusting handshake, which is how it appears to me these two are about to resolve whatever conflict they've had.  The handwritten note on the back of this way looks to say "please don't fight." Perhaps these two had a neighborly dispute over the boundary between their properties, and decided to call this particular bush the marker. Whatever the case, I love their playful postures, and the fellow at left in his suit has the devilish look of a prankster to me a bit a la Marcel Duchamp.
