Perhaps in part because I was really tired when I found it, this one completely spoke to me! One does see a fair number of cabinet cards and stereoviews of funerary flower arrangements, but I think this is really a wonderful example, and rather a transcendent one too--whatever the configuration of stand and pillow the memorial arrangement was set upon looks very much like a rocking chair to me, with the portrait mounted just at the spot where one might rest their head, and REST spelled out in flowers across the back, as if an invitation and a welcome. Beautiful richness to the photos themselves, and a excellent green mount, too.
7" x 3 15/16". Good condition, with light corner wear, one surface abrasion to the green along bottom edge toward the right, and a bit of minor curling. Reads rich and crisp.
