I didn't know anything about Rebman's when I found this work apron, not far from Lancaster, but have since learned it was quite the institution--started by Earl Rebman in 1909 (making candy at home for holiday sale) and by 1919 selling Christmas merch from a wheelbarrow in Penn Square. Lots about its history here. In addition to holiday merchandise (including x-mas year round) Rebman's developed a party supply business, selling everything from pinball machines to costumes to fireworks and much more. I believe this apron dates to the mid 20th c. or so.
21 1/4" x 15" not including neck and waist ties. Some scattered stains as evident, all to the good I think.
