Pushing Forward, Boy in Cap on Bike, Antique Snapshot Photo

I like anything that conveys a sense of hard trying--and this boy, poised to pedal this bike that appears nearly as tall as he is, feels hard-trying to me, and like a metaphor for embarking on an uphill battle!  C. 1910s-20s I believe.

3 1/4" x 2 3/8", good condition, some black paper residue on reverse.
