What a face! I know this puppet was created as part of as group of handmade Punch and Judy puppets to represents the "Neighbor" character; funnily enough, I think he looks a little like Jim Nabors, too, but even more so like Jim Broadbent! Really a wonderfully expressive guy, with huge red mouth, super bushy eyebrows and furrowed brown, and with arms that were made in. quite a wonky way, one higher than than the other.
Handmade and hand-painted papier mache head and hand-sewn costume, with little wooden hands nailed to the end of the sleeves. 15 3/4" tall; head measures approx 4 3/4" t x 3 3/4" w x 4" d. Well played, with some chips to the paint and knocks to the chin for sure, all to the good I think.
