Pretty Victorian Clothes Brush with Blue Velvet Wrap

Among so many other things I find it hard to resist a pretty brush, and this one is very much that, and in near perfect condition.  Victorian I believe, with the handle thickly painted black, sapphire blue velvet just above the ferrule, and soft, pale blonde horsehair bristles with crimson stitching across them.  The shape of the handle would make it easy to tie a ribbon around the end and hang it from the wall. 

7" long x 3" wide. The handle alone is 4 1/2" long and 1" wide at the ferrule.
