Perfect Old Pair of Carved Wooden Pumps

Photos don't really capture the beauty of these carved shoes, and they make the wood, pine I believe, look a bit darker in spots than it is--but so it is. (Trust me, they're great!) And for me it is very much about the two shoes as a pair, feeling like narrative-full stand ins for an absent woman (who left them behind and is out wearing flats!) Sometimes carved miniature shoes like these were carved to house pin cushions, but there is no evidence here of that, and they feel perfectly complete as they are. With the undersides showing some difference in the color of the stains it seems, though I wouldn't have discerned a difference otherwise.  

Each approx 5 3/4" l x 1 5/8" w x 2 3/16" t. Very good condition, nice age, nice warm patina.
