I must say it took me a while to realize that this is in fact a paint by numbers painting—I just thought it as a pretty great looking landscape, and really love the combination of greens and purples and deep reds! A paint by numbers it is though, I might guess completed by someone with painterly aspirations, as I do believe it rather transcends its origins, and was honored with a nice looking old wooden frame, too.
20 1/16" x 16 1/16" framed, as found, under glass. (Some glare in photos.) Painting itself, which appears to have been done on canvas or linen (printed with numbers) measures 18" x 14". Very good condition, with light wear here and there to the surface of the wood frame, not detracting.
