Old Hand-painted Cast Iron Pig Face (Target?)

Regular price $40.00

If I had to guess, I'd think this pig face once served as a carnival shooting target, as there is a concentration of dings right around the nose at center and a few more here and there. But there is no sign around the edges or on back that it was welded to something else, so perhaps it was somehow glued/adhered flush to a mount. I just think the hand-painted face is pretty great, with just the right taunting expression to provoke one to try to hit the mark, but which now with quite the amazing patina definitely reads as the face of a survivor!

3 3/4" t x 3 1/4" w x 3/8" thick. Cast iron I believe. Weighs a bit shy of a pound.
