Of course I endlessly covet fine 19th century watercolor sets, but opening this c. 1950s watercolors tin this week, with barely used paint blocks, delivered the same sort of pleasure--the pure joy of color, crisply delivered! And a silver sailboat too. With paintbrush ready at the ready to put them to use, though I'd be pretty content to enjoy these in the near pristine state.
Box 8 1/2" x 2". One bleed of red paint onto the cardboard as evident and just a bit of dust/soling at far right end but overall excellent condition inside and out.
