Marvelous Antique Theochrom Postcard, "The Rescue"

Such a fantastic image, with the most amazing color for the flames and smoke surrounding our rescuee, arms wildly outstretched toward our hero, who looks as if he's been waiting for this moment all his life! The text below: At last this hero draws quite near, she stretches out her arm, "Fear not, he cries, dear little maid, I'll save you from all harm."

5 1/2" x 3 5/8" . Bottom right corner is clipped but otherwise very good condition, and the color truly is fantastic. Produced by H.E.L. Theochrom and printed in Germany, first decade of the 1900s I believe.
