Lovely Smaller Sized Antique Magic Lantern Chromotrope

I'll never pass by a chromotrope if I can help it--optical magic of the purest sort. And this one is of a smaller scale than one typically sees, which makes it feel extra special to me. Bright and crisp color, with the optical effect produced by the rotation of one glass slide while the other remains static when one turns the handle.  Lovely. 

5 1/2" l including handle x 2" t x 7/16" d. Very good antique condition, handle turns smoothly.
