I found this specimen slide and another similar at a favorite New Hampshire stop the other day, which has a back room filled with all sorts of curious things, many of them from old school science departments, labs and the like. What I really like about this one is that it (part of a large seed pod?) looks to me like a very delicate antique paper doll, or the ghost of a girl wandering through the night and wind as if on the moors in a gothic novel.
4" x 3 5/6", very good condiition.
