Love for Love, Perfectly Succinct late 18th Century Bilston Battersea Enamelware Patch Box

I'm always eyeing late 18th century Bilston/Battersea enameled patch boxes, but mostly restrain myself. The "Love for Love" on this one really won me though, for its simultaneous concision and expansiveness of meaning/ interpretation, and its universality at the end of the day.  And the best cornflower blue too. 

 1 1/4" d x 3/4" t. Some wear to as evident--more pronounced in photos (shot with magnification) than in hand; feels more bright and crisp in hand. This one never had a hinge, the top just lifts off- and snaps closed tightly.
