Linen Suit and Mary Janes, 1929 Snapshot of Fashionable Young Woman Against Rail

A small one, dated 1929 on reverse, the framing and formal qualities of which I really love, with this pretty, fashionable looking young woman, just barely inside the the frame, seeming as if staring off into the future/void. With a nice rhythm and rhyme between the her belt and the top of the balustrade against which she leans, and between its columns and the base of a large column above. Lovely.
