I do believe it was Summit Street in Hartford, Connecticut from which this view of the 1925 total solar eclipse was captured, as there is a Summit street near Trinity College, as the sender describes, who shared the special moment with her friend Mae. A striking image, and I just really love that photo postcards were used to share astronomical phenomenon such as this.
3 1/2" x 5 1/2" and in very good condition. A tiny bit of curling, and I photographed it standing on end to get better light, which amplifies the curve.
