I love this visually, with the vertical stripes of the refrigerator exterior perfectly complemented by the vertical ones of the postal cancellations, but also just for featuring a picture of a very early "refrigerator," with huge chunks of ice filling the top chamber. And for having been addressed to the simply described "Meat Market" in West Troy NY. Not quite sure where much meat was going to fit in this one though! Quite a scarce one.
5 7/8 x 3 5/8 and in good antique condition, with uneven (opened) left edge as evident.
