This one, including for having raised some "Hands Off" signs lately (Hands Off Our Constiutution, Rule of Law, Bodies, etc.), feels to me especially poignant at the moment--with the nibbling away to the lower edge seeming very much a metaphor for the persistent chipping away at democracy we are witnessing, another bite out every day. More broadly, quite a perfect embodiment/distillation of the universal tension between declaration/assertion/warning and its defiance. Plus that wonderfully adamant, very rich black ink lettering against creamy white ground does it for me everytime. The more time I spend with this one, the more of a perfect thing I find it, speaking to pretty much everything.
14 1/8" x 6 7/8" Plenty of wear and I presume an animal chewing away to the cardboard as evident--very much to the good. Sound and stable, ink on cardboard.
