Charming Hand-embroidered Old Blue Wool Needle Book

I've developed quite a weakness for old handmade needle books, in small part because I'm forever digging around for a needle, but mostly because I love all of the effort and care put into making little things like this. And how to resist this one especially, crafted of navy blue wool and announcing itself in perfectly imperfectly embroidered lettering on the front? Plus rosy pink stitching around the edges and buttons for flourish in the corners--and lots of carefully arranged pins and needles!

4" x 4" closed. Light wear, rusting to some needles, and a little staining here and there on inside (white wool) pages, but overall very good condition and really charming.
