These are the sorts of things that I am incapable of walking away from--completely alive with the image of a child deeply absorbed in bringing imagined characters to life in order to physically enact war-time dramas at miniature scale, in addition to dripping with charm in and of themselves. I might guess there were a couple of makers involved in creating these six soldiers, with with one second to left in the first photo (my favorite, looking askance) a bit different in style than the others. As such, and with a trumpeter in the mix, and with each soldier wearing a bit of a different expression, I must say these are pretty fun to arrange into different scenarios. All have cardboard tabs on reverse for standing them up, with they do just fine though at slightly varying angles.
Most are about 3 1/4" tall x 1 3/8" wide; tabs extend about 1 to 1 1/2 inches deep. I added one tab where one was missing, and extended the tab of the trumpeter a bit to make him stand better. Minor fold lines here and there and general light wear, but overall very good, stable and sound condition.
