This is about the most satisfying pin cushion I've ever seen, and I keep going back and forth as to which side I like better. Happily, since it was made with a loop at top for hanging, one could periodically flip it over to look at the reverse. I believe it probably has 100 years on it, but remains in excellent shape and certainly useful still, though I might just treat it as a beautiful object to hang--and perhaps impetus to start a collection of hanging pin cushions so as to build a whole wall of them. Truly lovely.
5 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 5/8" and sewn I believe of a combination of linen and silk pieces. There is a small bit of something adhered to the bottom right gray square that I just noticed in the photos, and which I think will just scrape off.
