This vase is as much a great sculptural object as it is a functional vessel. The surface ranges from a shiny midnight blue to a dark mossy green to a stony matte black with a terrific texture. A really dramatic little piece just on its own, bull all the better with a big bloom. Really nice.
3 1/2" tall x 4 7/8" diameter at widest. There are a few little white marks on the surface of the body but it is in otherwise excellent vintage condition. Some marks are incised on the bottom, perhaps a signature, but I can't make them out.
