Farewell, Mid 19th Century Reverse Painted Glass, Foil and Paper Flowers Forget Me Not

I've found a few mid 19th century "forget me nots" of this sort over the years, though don't come across them very often, and will continue to scoop them up whenever I do. They feel to me midway between Italian reliquaries and Victorian glass domed waxworks, and most of all full of the never-ending (and very early Victorian) drive to make momentos of every sort lest one be forgotten. And these of course are best lit by candlelight, with the reverse painted glass and gold foil glowing like flames. Paper flowers, gold foil, red reverse painted glass, and embossed gold paper around the edges, with pretty blue paper black, forever sealing it. Farewell.
