Good design shows up in all sorts of places and satisfying objects come in all shapes and sizes! I love this wooden bus, which is also a puzzle, and also a lesson in the color spectrum. Definitely has an Antonio Vitali sort of feel about it, but it was made by L.S. Ruth, Guilford, CT, 1982. I've found just two other examples of toys by that maker out there, both early 1980s, but no other bus, and while it feels like it should be a classic, for all I know it's the only one of its kind!
9 3/4" x 3 5/8" t x 3 1/2" w. Very good condition, all wood, great warm patina to the dry pine. Rolls along smoothly.
