Obsessive "Door Holes Lock Drill " Tin

This feels as much like a Jesse Howard sign as a tin used for storing hardware to me, seeming like a specific thought process or set of associative instructions playing out across the entire surface of it. I assume it held parts all relating to the installation of door locks, but who knows? Certainly obsessive, as if needing to be reminded over and over, from every side including the lid. And always hard to beat black lettering against creamy white paint, especially handwritten lettering as good as this. Love. 

4 13/16” w x 3 3/4” t x 3 3/16” d. Plenty of rusting as evident, and it takes some finesse to open and close the lid, which is tight due to a little bending to the sides.
