"Corners, Tuesday", Man Holding Hoop, Antique RPPC

Regular price $28.00

I feel like this photograph should give rise to a novel..I at least find it an extraordinary evocative image, all the more so for the "Corners, Tuesday Aug." written in pencil at the bottom, and really want to know the whole story of this man's life.  I assume he is training a dog (?) to jump through the hoop he holds so tightly in one hand, with his other hand so perfectly poised it kills me. And then the whole thing taking place over a gnarly barbed wire fence, making this feel like nothing less than an existential drama. I could look at this all day.

3 1/2" x 5 1/2". Plenty of stains but in this case I rather think they add to it. Unused back.
