Constant Is My Love For Thee, Early Paper Lace Valentine, Under Glass

The second of two of these I found together, the other listed and sold last week--this one bearing the happy message "constant is my love for thee." A lovely example of one of these layered paper lace and embossed die cut valentines, or love tokens, and an early one--c. 1860s-70s I believe.  Detail photos give the best sense of the layering and embossing here--with carefully cut colored paper in deep blue and green and brown laid under the paper lace to make the imagery pop. Plus a die cut of a blindfolded cupid at center and angel with golden wings below.

5 1/8 x 7 1/6 framed, as found. 5 1/2 x 3 7/8 paper. Very good condition, behind glass, with a hanging loop at top.
